Marshwood Guns

2016/7/22 9:18:27

Question
My grandfather has a marshwood gun and was wondering if anybody would be able to inform him on maybe any other names the gun would be under or maybe any information on a company that has produced them. He is trying to find replacement parts for it, but without any information on where to look he is having a hard time, any information you might have on this would be greatly appriciated. Thank you so much

Answer
Hi Carnetta.

Marshwood was a trade name of the Crescent Fire Arms Company.  They made low-cost shotguns under many different model and trade names.  Your grandfather's gun was probably made sometime between 1900-1930.  To be sure you can try to find it in the Blue Book log for this company, which you can purchase online for only $10.  Here is the link:

You can also try searching the web for similar info with this search link:

Good luck to you.
