i have a late 1930 maybe early 40s .22 ruger pearl handled pistol , i was just curiouse of its value

I cannot really do much for you without some additional info since I obviously do not have benefit of a personal inspection of the pistol.

Is it a semi-auto action (pistol) or a revolver (single or double action) is there any name and/or model number on the frame anywhere?

I hope you can appreciate that there is a long list of Rugers made over the years and without additional info its not likely that I gave give you an accurate answer.
