Antuqe Ranger db Shotgun?

I have a Ranger db shotgun twin triger the mod number 5000.It also said proof tested 12 gauge. Would you know how old it is and who the mfg would be.

Hi Greg.

There was a company known as "Ranger Arms Inc." but they only made rifles and they quit in the 1970's.  So in this case it appears that "Ranger" is a trade name and not the actual manufacturer name.

The "Ranger" trade name was marked on numerous firearms that were made by Eastern Arms Co. and Stevens.  Your model was made by Stevens and they referred to it as a "515".  It was sold by Sears between 1931 - 1941.
