1953 remington 30-06

Hello Sid,I was looking for a value and any History you could give me on my 1953 Remington 30-06,also the unique scope that is on it.I bought this at a auction and it is in really great shape.I had it on the range and did not have to adjust anything.It grouped 4 out of five shots with the second shot drifting off at 2 o'clock(probably me).  Thank you Sid,  Matt

What model number and/or name, and what type of action? I assuming bolt but you didn't say for sure (?).

I'll get you what I can if you can narrow this down for me a bit.
