Springfield XD-45 holster

I have been looking into the Level 3 Duty SERPA Auto Lock Holster made by Blackhawk, but the don't make them for a Springfild XD-45 ACP Tactical Model with a 5" barrel.  My question is, Is the XD close enough to the same size to fit in a holster made for one of the following handguns?  Beretta 92 or 96.  Glock 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 31, or 32.  H&K P-30.  SW MP 45.  Sig 220, 226, 228, or 229.  S&W M&P 9/40.

The XDs have not caught on as duty guns, and so there are not many duty rigs for them.

Beretta, Glock, and S&Ws all have a smaller slide/dust cover profile than the XD, so it is very doubtful that the XD will fit a holster made for one of them.

When the XDs first came out people were using leather holsters made for the HK USP which worked quite well.

Plastic is a different animal though, as it won't stretch to fit an odd corner. I have experience with the XDs in all calibers, but not with that holster, but I can probably help you narrow your choices.

The holster most likely to work will be one made for an HK. If they make such a holster, I would think that one for the HK USP Tactical in .45 would be your closest bet.

If you don't have a store around you that has that holster, you can order one and send it back if it doesn't work, but your best bet for the XD is going to be something made for the HK, definitely NOT the Glock, Beretta.
