20ga double barrell shotgun

2016/7/22 9:17:05

Question
I have a double barreled shotgun marked with Western-Field MW & Co S/N 220840. The stock is missing. This gun was most likely mfgd in the 1930/40's. It belonged to my wifes father, he died in the mid 50's & had the gun for more than 10yrs. Where can I find a stock?

Answer
Richard,

I'd try Numrich Gun Parts Co. at www.e-gunparts.com and/or Brownells at www.brownells.com, Auction Arms at www.auctionarms.com scroll down and click "gun stocks".

There other places to try but these would be my first choices. Also, if they do not have anything to fit you could have one made but in my opinion it would be a bit costly compared to the value of the gun.

I hope that this helps and thanks for the question Richard.
