J. Stevens 22-410 Over and Under

Good day,

I have and old rifle, I'm told belonged to my grandfather, so it could be near 100 years old. It's a J. Stevens Over and Under 22-410 Manufactured in Chikopee Falls Mass. I cannot find a serial number for it however so.....This is about all the info that I have on it. I'm dating it based on it being a hand me down from my father. I'm 53. He would be 75. That puts my grandfather in the 100 year range if he were still here. I'm trying to find any information I can as to it's age, history and value. I know this isn't a lot of in formation but it's all I have to go with so far. Any thing you can offer would be great.

You have a Stevens 22-410.
They were made from 1939 to 1950.
It was renamed Savage/Stevens Model 24 1950.
There would be no serial number as they were not required.
They are worth $150 to $50 depending on condition.
Add $50 if it has a plastic stock.
