i have a western field 12ga #m550abd it needs new stock is anything enterchage able with it

Mossberg manufactured the Western Field shotguns for Montgomery Wards.  The Western Field model 550 is identical to the Mossberg 500.  You should be able to find a Mossberg 500 stock nearly anywhere.

I'd try Brownell's online at:  www.brownells.com

You should also be able to pick something up at most hunting stores or gun stores.  Most of them will be polymer stocks.  If you want a wood one, you will need to check some other sources.
