Question
QUESTION: I have a 1973? Western Field 20 ga shotgun that I really haven't used for 25 years. I'd like to sell it, but have no idea the best way to do that... Do you have any advice? Thanks
ANSWER: Easiest way is to find a store in your local area that takes
consignment or buy them out right.
Another option is to take an ad out in a local newspaper.
If you use that option you need to know your state laws on transfers.
If you supply the model number I can give you an idea of what its worth.

QUESTION: I see a G468770 on the side of the metal...right above the trigger. It also has 20 ga 26 inch c-lect-choke, but I don't see any model #
ANSWER: If it says c-lect-choke, it was made by Mossberg. Is this a pump shotgun semi auto, single shot or bolt action? If its a pump there should model number ob underside near where it where it loads.
There should also be detail of like city and it was made in on the carrel.

QUESTION: The model seems to be M550CR- it was covered up by the pump. I believe it held 2 shells, but it's been over 30 years since I've used it.
Answer
OK you have a Mossberg Model 500c pump shotgun made for Wards.
Not a bad little gun I have one. Its worth from $75 in poor condition
to $250 in excellent condition. Average ones go for $150 to $175.
If a store buys it from you or goes on consignment figure you will $50
off of those prices.
