Unable to find ammo

2016/7/22 9:16:25

Question
Hi Doug,
I felt good to have acquired a classic Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I in firing condition for US$4310, but I later found that I could not ammo for it! Could you please tell me the .303 ammo situation?

Answer
Anton,

I don't know if you are in the US or somewhere else, but in the US, ammo for your rifle is pretty easy to come by...

Check out this link:

The type of ammo is .303 British, which is probably not popular enough for most gun stores to stock and sell, but as you can see on Cheaper Than Dirt's site, it is pretty inexpensive, relatively speaking.

If you are overseas, I'm not sure what the situation is...but here in the US you have a good source of supply...

Regards,

Doug
