Hunting License

My boyfriend, I would eventually like to too, wants to get his hunting license but doesn't know what to do in order to obtain it.  I have been searching everywhere, and I did find that in order to obtain your hunting license you need to show poof of successful completion of the Connecticut Conservation Education/firearms course; I see that info everywhere; but what none of the resources tell me, is WHERE they can be taken and how much do the courses cost.  Can you please help me out!!  Thank you so very much!

There is also good info on this page about what's involved in the course, who should take it, etc.

PLEASE NOTE:  The website seems to be having problems accessing the database of course locations and dates.  I have notified the webmaster of the site that there is a problem.  I'd give it a couple of days and see if they get it fixed.  If not you should be able to call them at

Regarding cost, you will have to contact the folks that give the course to find out how much they charge.  Once the website comes back up, you should be able to get that info.
