shooting to the right

Question
Shooting with open sights I am consistently shooting to the right of my target.  What can I do to correct this.  It does not matter what gun I shoot I am still shooting to the right.  Please help.

I suppose that you understand the proper sight picture: the front post centered in the rear sight, with equal light on each side. So the problem can be in your trigger squeeze and/or "follow through" as the shot breaks.  That is, the gun may be moving as the shot breaks.  

You should breathe normally leading up to taking the shot, take the next breath, let out a small amount, and then hold your breath as you continue to squeeze the trigger until the shot breaks.  Continue to hold on target through the squeeze.  If it takes too long for one breath the first few times, slightly relax your trigger finger, and try again, holding another breath and then continuing the trigger squeeze.  The break of the shot should be a slight surprise - do not decide to "pull" the trigger when you think you're ready.  Instead, just continue to squeeze the trigger until the gun fires while you are maintaining the sight picture.

You may already be trying to do this.  So, my recommendation is that you place a video camera on a tripod to the side of your firing position (on your the right, if you're right-handed).  Start the video recording, and then fire a few rounds.  When playing back the video, I think you might see that the gun barrel moves slightly just before the gun fires.  But seeing it on the video will help you to understand what's going on, and how to correct it.
