Marlin Shotgun

Question
I have a Marlin .410 Gauge Bolt Action Shotgun Model 60G in excellent condition. It is a single shot. I was wondering if you could give me an estimated value and possibly a round about date of when they were first produced.

Answer
Justin,

I'm really not answering value / age questions as it generally involves too much research.  I do know that your shotgun was manufactured between 1960 and 1964.  There were a little over 18,000 of these guns produced.

Marlin made very 'utilitarian' shotguns and as a result they have little collectable value.  They are nearly all categorized as 'shooters'.

Your gun new was sold for around $25.  Based on values for similar Marlin shotguns with slightly different model designations, the value is probably less than $100.

Hope this helps you out...

Regards,

Doug
