AnswerHello John.
I am happy to help you and would never insult anyone regardless of their question. Your question seems perfectly normal to me. Many shooters started out with BB guns when they were young and we all have a fond memory of those first guns. My own first BB gun was broken and later sold really cheap but I sure wish I had kept it now.
I am not sure which specific Daisy BB pistol you are referring to but it was probably one of the early spring-powered models. Several of their older BB pistols were available in a classic 6-shooter configuration similar to the Colt single action revolvers. The kit which you describe was probably a variation of the Daisy model number 179 BB pistol which was styled after the Peacemaker and was a 12-shot single action repeater. This gun originally sold for $5.98 in 1963 and was available in several kits or variants including a gold trigger, blued trigger, Texas Ranger set, and NRA version.
To find out more information you first have to identify the specific model and then you can search for more information about that model. Check out this site which has some photos of the older Daisy BB pistols. Once you visit the site you have to select the model number 179 and pick a variation, then click on the Get Data button to see the photo and details.
