Have been offered Browning Light Twelve by an esteemed friend, and would like to pay him a fair price, small dent in wood, bluing 99.9%, SN 8G36103, what is value?

Take a look at the Blue Book of Gun Values for current pricing. The market on the A-5's have changed a lot in the last few months because the economy. I suspect it will bring $800-$1000 unless it has the box. Then add $75. Hope this helps.
