Hi, I have a Colt Official Police .38 Special, serial # 732954.  It is blued with pearl grips.  Do you know the year this revolver was produced, and the possible value, if any?  Thank you, Phil

 Hello Phil. Your revolver dates to 1947.The most popular model at that time had the six inch barrel, but some also came with a five inch barrel. In blue, they are priced from $250.00 to $975.00 that I found. Most priced in the $500.00 range. You have pearl grips and if they are genuine pearl, an Official Police in excellent condition would be in the $700.00-$1,000.00 price range. Not being able to inspect your revolver, let's just say it does have a good to very good value. I hope this information helps and I thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
