JC Higgins Shotshell Box

Am trying to date a JC Higgins Rifled Slug Box-Color yellow with plain black lettering-Research indicates that Sears put the Higgins brand on hunting items around 1946 and discontinued the brand in 1961--that should narrow the manufacture date down--can you date the box even closer-I appreciate any assistance you have time to render--

Hello Eric. I am not an expert on accessories, but I have purchased empty shell boxes from Ward's Auctions Inc. This research will be up to you. Just Google 'collector ammunition boxes' if Ward's doesn't turn up anything for you. I hope this helps and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
