How do I get the forend off?

Hi Allan.

It looks like you have to remove the screw near the bottom front of the forend, then disengage the forend spring by pulling firmly downward on the middle of the forend, then slide the forend off to the front. I haven't handled one of these guns in person so I can't be more specific than that. If it gives you trouble then don't force it or you might break the forend spring or crack the stock. Take it to a local gunsmith who can probably show you how to do it for free in 2 minutes.
