Question
I have a s.p.a.s.12-L franchi s.p.a. brescia made in Italy on the gun is F.I.E. corp. miami fla usa 33054 #AA10425 holds 8 shells I want to sell it but don,t know what it is worth can you give me an idear it is in good condision thanks for any help Steve.
Answer
Hello Steve. Your Franchi is a one of a kind shotgun. It is a simi-auto and by pressing a button it becomes a manual pump-action. Recently, ATF blocked importation of this type of shotgun. However, re-sale and transfers within the US can continue unobstructed by Federal Legislation. Franchi did cease production of the SPAS12L in 2000. As far as a selling price, it is almost an open market on this one. I mean collectors are driving the price up. I have seen this shotgun offered for auction at $1,600.00. If your firearm is complete and in very good condition, I would not be surprised to see a taker at this price. I hope this helps answer your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
