Question
You told another guy named Dave that his J.P. Lower Denver shotgun side by side was made by J.P. Sauer. When were they in business? If not before 1887, that information is incorrect.
Answer
Hello Dave.
You don't seem to have a question of your own other than to question a previous answer. I am not sure what other information you are looking for but here is an excerpt from the blue book:
"Current manufacturer located in Eckernf鰎de, Germany since 1751 (originally Prussia). Currently imported by Blaser USA, located in San Antonio, TX. Previously manufactured in Suhl pre-WWII. Previously imported and warehoused 1995-2007 by SIG Arms, located in Exeter, NH. Rifles were previously imported until 1995 by the Paul Company Inc. located in Wellsville, KS and until 1994 by G.U., Inc. located in Omaha, NE. In 1972, J.P. Sauer & Sohn entered into a cooperative agreement with SIG. During 2000, SAN Swiss Arms AG purchased SIG Arms AG, including the J.P. Sauer & Sohn trademark. Production remains in Eckernf鰎de, Germany."
If you need anything else then just ask another question.
God bless.
