Question
I have a old National Fire Arms 12 g single barrel shotgun I would like to find some history to but do not know where to start.  I do have the S#. Thanks for your help

Answer
National Firearms was a trade name used by The Crecsent Arms Co of Norwich Ct.
These type of guns were made 1892 to 1930.
There are 100s of trade names there were made under.
These were low dollar firearms often refered to as "Hardware Guns".

It may not be safe to shoot. Have a gunsmith look it over first.
No exact dating possible on these.
Single Barrels are worth $50 to $150 depending on condition.
