Savage 110 L manufacture dates

I have 2 Savage 110 L's and I have been trying to figure out when they were made . I can't find much on the internet and the new copy of the 30th edition of Gun Values was no help only listed the 99's as far as I could tell. My first one is a 308 with serial number 1840X the best I could tell was it might be a 1959 date, my other one is a benchrest gun using a Savage left hand action with custom barrel and stock highly modified in 243 caliber, serial number is 5482X. I really love shooting both guns and was asked how old they were, I have had them about 20 years and really had no idea so I decided to check it out and find out but can't find anything out there. I have the books on Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Marlin and can find their manufactured dates. I bought the new Savage/Stevens book but it is mostly only history. do you have this information or know where I can find it ? Thanks in advance for your help....Larry

Hello Larry. Yes,I can help you find the information you ask for. You were actually soooo close it isn't even funny. Go back to your 30th Edition of Gun Values in the Savage Arms section and turn a few more pages. You will find everything you ask about there.I hope this helps and thank you for asking for me.
