Question
I would like to know specific disassembly/assembly procedures for a .25 ACP C.G. Haenel Suhl-Schmeisser pistol.
I would like pictures if possible to help me ...
According to my Aunt this little pistol was carried by her late husband Wilbur Rayne Hansen, a Racine WI Police Officer during a bank robbery by John Dillenger in 1932.
I have fired this pistol and it works fine ... but I need instructions on how to get it apart for a good cleaning... Help?
Answer
try these two links, if you can get a part, spray it down with WD 40 inside and out and then get an air compressor and use pressure air to blow out dirt and excess wd40. You can also wash it in a sink with dish washing or shampoo (rinses clean) and then rinse with warm water, blow it out with pressure air, blow it out with a blow dryer (hot air) to remove all water then spray oil every where and blow out with pressure air.
This will clean most any gun and this gun is small and should be fine. One of the links I sent show all the parts if you decide to take down.
