Question
I bought my first rifle in a pawn shop when I was 12 and still own it today. However I do not know much about it. On the barell it says Revelation Western Auto Supply Co.made in the USA, model R220B in 243 Winchester. Does this company make firearms any more ? Is this gun known for being accurate, good quality, bad quality. Is it worht anything ? I would just like to be able to have something to say about it when I pass it on to my children. Thanks
Answer
Hello Andy. Your rifle was manufactured by Mossberg and is a less expensive model of the Mossberg Model 800. This Mossberg Model 800 was manufactured from 1967 through 1973. What I have found about this model is that it is a very accurate, high quality firearm and valued in the $300 price range. I hope this helps answer your questions and thank you for asking for me.
