Question
Unknown Knife
Doug,
I was impressed with your knowledge of information on pocket knives. I have an old two blade pocket knife from a collection that has bone handles and is shaped somewhat like a Barlow, but it has no name on it. The only identifying mark is on the large blade. The stamped emblem is a circle with what appears to be an English crown on top. Inside the circle appears to be some kind of oval vessel with a bushy tail coming out of the bottom or perhaps liquid spilling from a slot in the bottom of the oval.
Would you have any idea who the manufacturer might be. Thanks a lot.
AnswerGerald,
The knife was made by Queen Cutlery. They still manufacture knives from their Titusville, PA location. They have been making knives since 1922. The mark is actually a "Q" with a crown on top...
