Poly-Choke

Paul,I have a J.C. Higgins 20ga. 583.15 model 10 Bolt action sold by sears.If I have a poly-choke installed can I shoot slugs?Right now the barrel says Full.Poly-choke said they can install one.Please advise.I know that the have to cut the barrel to install it so the ID will be bigger since the barrel is taperd,and then install it to original size.I know some of these guns had poly-choke's,but don't know to much about them. I'd like to make this av all around gun,and I like the 20ga. Thank's Mike

First that model was recalled so I would do anything with it.

Even if that wasn't recalled it would be cost prohibitive to add a polychoke.
It would cost twice what the guns worth.

Better idea look for a used Mossberg 500 with a slug barrel on it.
$150 is about what one in good condition sells for.
