gun lubricant

Question
Hi, I own a stainless steel amt 380 backup single action. I recently
used anti seize on the slide of the gun and on a few other parts.
The gun works much smoother than before and the slide action is easier to pull. The reason I used this lubricant is I read it prevents the galling of stainless steel parts. Do you know anything
about this being a good lubricant for stainless steel pistols?

Have not heard about it, however breakfree as always worked well for me in the military and in civilian law enforcement.  I use breakfree or CorrosionX, If you look the two you will find the CX leaves a much finer layer of lubricant which means less to get in the way and less to attract dust and powder.

The test on CX was really amazing, the lower a cable into the ocean salt water and only treated half with CX and it seemed to worked well.  CX also makes a lubricant just for firearms.

Steel and Stainless Steel should not gum up or wear differently, it all depends on the tolerance specifications of the gun.  Not to crack on your gun but it is not known as a high end quality gun which is why you paid less than you would for a H&K or Sig.  If you are having marring or shavings or other issues, I would look to gun not so much oil, of course if you used no oil it would make it worse, but I have several stainless guns and I have always used Breakfree or CX and have had no issues.
