Ranger Shot Gun

2016/7/22 9:07:34

Question
Ranger shot gun: Serial No. X39408  I think this gun was made for Sears.  I would like to know by who and when. Also approx value if you happen to know.  Old Family Gun, probably worth more as a keepsake.

Answer
Hello Terry. Ranger was a name used by Sears, Roebuck Company. But it could have belonged to a few other firearms makers. You say it is a shotgun, but you do not say what kind. Is it a single shot, a double barrel, a pump action? What is the model number? Is it a 12 gauge, or 16, or 20, or .410? I would really like to answer your questions. Ask for me again. Charles Gage
