Remington Nylon 66

My friend has a Remington Nylon 66, with the black stock and chrome receiver and barrel......The stock and barrel are shorter than other 66's.....Did they make a youth model???

There was no youth model made for the Nylon 66, however there were several variations of the nylon 66 from its introduction in 1959 until it ceased production in 1991. They are as follows,

Nylon 66
Nylon 66MB
Nylon 66GS
Nylon 66SG
Nylon 66AB
Nylon 66BD
   
Nylon 66 - 150th Anniversary Rifle
Nylon 66 ?Bicentennial Rifle


The Nylon 66AB variation came with a black stock, chrome plated barrel and reciever. It is called Apache Black. This model accounts for over 200,000 nylon 66's made. I saw no reference to a shorter barrel or stock, but I suppose it is possible.
