Importing fire arms

Is it possible for canadian(alberta) to buy a handgun(.44) from United states based company Online?
Do firearms companies from States shipped it to canada?
How much it cost to buyer for international delivery?

As a federal firearms licensee, I can't ship to Canada unless I also have an export license for the shipment.  This is not easy, and I doubt that anyone would do it for a single firearm.  This is usually only done for a large shipment to an importer.
