Question
I recently acquired a Browning 20 ga pump Field Model 22. Ser # 46408PN162 it has never been fired and was bought new several years ago. I know it was made in Japan but I still would like to know the approx value if possible
Answer
Hello Stephen,
The gun you have was actually made by Steven's using the browning name. Browning never manufactured guns in Japan. They basically bought the right's to Browning name and put the name on their guns and sold them at montgomery wards and stores like that. Probably was not the smartest move Browning ever made as there is alot of confusion when someone picks up a "Steven's" and thinks it is actually a Browning. You could probably get 250-300 dollars for this model if it is in Brand New condition, never fired and 100% original.
