ihave astevens model 94c. ibelieve the c stands for custom because it has no serial #. it has a makers mark of F Q stamped on the barrel,reciever,&stock behind the butt plate. there is also a mushroom or spade shape next to the F Q. I would like to know who made it & any other info that you may have to offer.

Hello Mickey. It was made by Savage Arms between 1950 and 1968. Firearms manufactured prior to 1968 were not required to have serial numbers on their guns. It is a well built firearm and if it is safe to shoot, will bring you many more years of shooting enjoyment. I hope this answers your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
