Answer
Hello Dalton,
The Ranger .410 bolt action shotgun is made by Stevens Arms as a Stevens Model 37. Stevens produced these guns along with many others under "house" names such as Ranger, etc. and sold by chain stores like Sears, which is who sold the Ranger brand. The value of the gun's are usually fairly low, you could expect to get 75-100 bucks for a gun like this in great condition. As for ammo, you should only fire what the gun was designed for, which is .410 shotgun shells. I would have the gun checked before attempting to fire anything in it, though you should have little to no problems unless there is an obvious defect (these guns are built fairly simple).
Best of luck!
