Question
I'm just trying to find out anything I can about the shotgun. It's a single barrel from sears. Past down from Grandpa.I'm most interested in the age and what it was worth when he first got it in comparison to the value of it now. It works fine and the woods not too bad a few worn places from handling with no serious scratches or anything. Really just would like some history on it.

Your was Sear house brand of Savage Model 94.
You can't date these other than before 1968 no serial number after 1968
which has a serial number. They were made from 1939 to 1969.
In good working order its worth $50 to $75.
Its a basic utility shotgun. Real common the basic design that goes back to 1880s.
