I have heard that this gun can handle a 30.6 load as well as the 410. Is this accurate?

Hello Brian,

I would not shoot a .30-06 load from a .410 shotgun unless the manufacture recommended it by stamping the ammo on the barrel. You would be taking to many risk in finding out if the gun/barrel would stand up to the pressure from a .30-06 round.
