Marlin shotgun info

I have a Marlin 12ga pump hammer shotgun with 'Marlin Trap Gun' on the metal strap at the grip.  The newest patent date is Dec 21, 1909.  I can't find the model and is this a low brass or high brass gun?

'Marlin Trap Gun' is the model. You was made between 1909 and 1917.
It evolved basically into the model 24.
Brass on the shell makes no real difference. Low brass is easier to extract.
Everything was high brass until plastic hulls came on the market.
