Question
I HAVE A SEARS,ROEBUCK AND CO. 12 GAUGE DOUBLE SHOT GUN,          2 3/4INCH CHAMBER,
MODEL 101.7          I PURCHASED AROUND 1960,IT'S IN PERFECT CONDITION!!!          WHAT WOULD IT BE WORTH TODAY???
THANK YOU
JOHN

Answer
Hello John.
Your shotgun is actually a Stevens Model 311 made for Sears,Roebuck and Co. These ' store brand ' firearms were usually made with lesser grade wood stocks and finish than the manufacturers own models. The strength and durability are the same, but they are of very little interest to collectors. The Stevens Model 311 seems to be in the $200-$275 price range. Your's being a ' store brand ' shotgun would sell for less. I do not appraise firearms, but I would say your gun, in 80-90%, could sell from $175-$225.
I hope this answers your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
