ANSWER: Hello Charles.
Your Sears Model 45 was manufactured by the Marlin Firearms Company as their Model 336. You can find a parts diagram at Numrich Gun Parts at www.gunpartscorp.com. There is also a pdf where you can download the Owners Manual for the Marlin 336 at www.marlinfirearms.com/pdf/manuals/mfc_centerfire.pdf. I also checked out a couple of youtube sites on cleaning the Marlin 336 rifle that were very informative.
I hope this answers your questions and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage

QUESTION: I have looked at the site where you have told me about. Thanks so much for the help. I have one question more and I have not found in the information, can I shot 45 cab rounds in this gun also? Thanks again for all your help.

Charles
Answer
Hello Charles.
In one word 'NO!'.The Marlin Model 336 was introduced in 1948, only in .30-30 Winchester and .32 Winchester Special cartridges. In 1952 the .35 Remington cartridge was added. The .219 Zipper cartridge was used from 1955 through 1959. The .44 Remington Magnum and .444 Marlin cartridges were introduced in 1965. The .375 Winchester cartridge introduced in 1980 and the .307 and .356 Winchester in 1983. These were the only calibers available to Sears & Roebuck, in a lever-action rifle, up to the end of their firearm sales in 1988. The .45 Long Colt cartridge was not available in a Marlin lever-action rifle until 1996 with the '1894 Cowboy'. This does not mean that Sears used all of these calibers for their Model 45 rifle.
Sorry for such a long answer, but I do not feel it is respectful to just say 'NO!' Sincerely, Charles Gage
