QUESTION: The writing is on the barrel back by the stock. It say's parker ballard Spain made in Deleware. It doesn't have the exposed hammers and it auto ejects the cartridges when you break it. When looking at pictures on line the closes thing it resembled was a parker .410. Hopefully this helps.
Answer
Hello, again, Jason.
I found very little on your shotgun and it doesn't match any made as early as 1938. What I found was that Parker-Ballard has no connection with the Parker Brothers manufactured in Meridan, Connecticut. They were manufactured by Marixa in Eibar, Spain and sold in the U.S. and marketed by the Parker-Ballard Company of Wilmington, Delaware. These were imported in the 1960-1970 era.
I am sorry I could not find anything from the 1930's, but thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
