I am looking to purchase a western auto supply co , revolution model 220a .308 cal with a maverick scope. I havent heard of either one what should be a good price on this gun?

Hello Bill.
  Your rifle was manufactured by O.F. Mossberg beginning in 1967. Value would depend on the condition. The WASC Revelation Model 220A is a lesser priced model of the Mossberg 800A, but in no way inferior. In very used condition, the Mossberg 800A (60%) could be priced around $100, all the way to a like-new condition (100%) around $400. The scope most likely came with the rifle when new. If possible, have a licensed gunsmith check it out before you purchase it.
