Walther P-8 9mm

Question
I have a Walther P-8 9mm,, looking for extra magazines,, is the mag for a P-38 the same as the P-8?

Hello David.
  The only P-8 I know of is the H&K P8, and its magazine capacity exceeds the 8 round capacity of the Walther P-38. Therefore, not compatible. The P-08 is a 9mm Luger and is a totally different pistol. There were some changes in Walther production over the years since its invention that were modifications including the P-1 and the P-5. I could not find any compatibility information on these magazines. I would suggest checking with some parts warehouses on-line. They will be able to give you more information as to compatibility. gunparts.com. is one. I hope this helps.
