I am trying to determine the date my gun was made.It is a 22 Supershot Sealed Eight. I think the serial # is L39470.

  Your Supershot Sealed Eight was manufactured, most likely, according to your serial number, in 1947. Due to lack of records, from 1946-1957, it is not possible to say for sure the exact year. It was, however, the First Model.
