regulator hiss

My alternate 2nd stage reg has a slight hiss when i press the purge valve.  I haven't noticed any loss of air, but i was wondering if this is something i should be worried about of if you have any suggestions on how to fix it.  My 2nd stage is an Oceanic slimline 2.

Hi Jared,
Hitting the purge button opens the demand valve of your second stage.  A hissing sound would be normal.

Check any gear you doubt out in a pool or in the shallows before you next dive with it and check to make sure you don't see any leaks.
