blown ear drum

Hi Jesse,
I was wondering if you could help me since you have gone through the same situation I am in now.
I'm a free diver from Richards Bay and iv bean diving since a young age. Five months ago i blew my ear drum while diving. I went to the doctor, with no success. he referred me to a specialist who did a operation to close the hole but that was not successful. I'm dew for another op soon and was wondering if you had any advice about ear plugs or something to get me back in the water.
