top roping

what is the equipment that you need to set up a top rope course. the ancour at the top is a ballad.
all the setting up equipment like ropes and stuff!thanx!

Ok well to set this up for you and other people to top rope then you need to lead the climb, to thred the rope into the ballad. For this you will need quick draws, a harness, shoes, chalk and maybe a helmet, depending on where youre climbing. It is difficult to say what safety equipment you need, as i dont know where you are climbing, indoors or outdoors. Many indoor climbing centres have instructors and it is best to ask one of them for a demonstration and to ask what is the best way to go about climbing the routes there. If you are going outdoors it is a good idea to have a climbing session with someone who has been outdoor climbing before, as they can show you what is needed to be done.
