Jogging & Breakfast
Question
Hi,
I would like to try jogging but the only time I can regularly excersize is in the morning. My question is this - should I jog before or after eating breakfast? Or should I have a light snack, jog, then have the rest of the breakfast? Seems after 8-10 hours of not eating it wouldn't make sense to jog, but on the other hand exercising on a full stomach doesn't make sense either.

Great question and you have the right idea. You don't want to run with no "fuel", so eating light before a run is wise, however make sure you do it about an hour before you run and do not eat anything heavy. Some ideas are: bananas, bagel-peanut butter, yogurt. Or you can always have a sports drink to give you the carbs to complete the run
