Question
Is there a way to strengthen the muscle at the front of the shin. I get terrible aggrivation from this muscle from running and even from kicking a football.

you can get a weight and it doesn"t have to be a dumbell.let it hang off your foot and then curl your foot up.you will probably have to sit on a table with your legs droping down.another thing is i recomend for people who exercise a lot is 1500 to 2000 mg. of vitimen c for srrong conective tissue and collengen.a must have.
last i don"t no how long you have been working out or how consistant you are but your body adapts over time.called tendon adaption.to reduce inflamation and pain i would ice it after your workouts for 15 minutes.
it will eventully subside if you are consistant with the process......hope that helps harry....let me know how your doing
