aerobics question

Question
Good Day!

I am a 52-year-old, 6'2" male. I have done weightlifting since age 35. Started learning about, and doing, aerobics for about 3 months now.

I have been learning about aerobics on the internet, applying what I learn.

What I read is that I am reaching my 70% heart target rate. 120 beats per minute. But I never can get above 120 beats per minute, no matter how hard I try. Resting after exercise is 90 beats per minute. Asleep is 60 beats per minute.

Is it possible to reach 80% or higher?

Confusion No. #2 - bodyfat percentages. I have one of those Tanto bodyfat and weight scales. What I read is my goal should be 19%. What do you think should be my bodyfat goal? I am at 27%. I was at 36%. So this working out ok (I walk up and down stairs each day; 30 flights of stairs a day...).

I also read that your body would "ka-put" if your bodyfat got TOO low. I saw a man on tv today, age 23, who said that he had 1% bodyfat. I thought this would not be possible, unless you wanted to end up in a hospital. What do you think?

And I do weightlifting, as before, once a week.

Thanks for the time. Looking forward to hearing from you.
