Dry heaves while running
Question
I have been running for five months now. I started in May with a 10 week program that took me from a non-runner to running for 30 minutes. I made it through the summer months with the promise from running friends that when the weather cooled, running would get easier. The weather has cooled but lately I have started gagging when I get tired. It is more like dry heaves. I end up having to stop because I am gagging so much. Why would this start now? It is not like I am running at a fast pace. I am running 5K at about a 12 minute/mile pace. I am very discouraged by this. Any help would be appreciated.
