what is the best way to burn fat in running, running fast for 3 miles or running slow for 3 miles or should i do more miles or less, and would it be bad to do 6 miles three times a week(every other day ,saturday and sunday off).

The body doesn't begin to burn fat until after 30 minutes or so of exercise. Until then, it burns sugar stores in the body. That being said, the best for losing weight is to run for extended periods of time. Even if it is slow, running 45-60 minutes is great.

However, if you only have 30 minutes, faster is better. You increase your heart rate, get the metabolism going, work on cardiopulmonary efficiency, etc.
